I need a bit of help creating a modal form that pops up with a link click. I've created the form, but the issue I'm having is when I click the link, the form opens up in a new page, rather than as a popup over the current page.
On the help page it explains that without the javascript snippet on the the page with the link, this will happen. But I've tried a number of ways to add the javascript snippet to the blog post, but nothing seems to work and the popup keeps opening in a new tab. I am using Wordpress, Kadence theme and Gutenberg for posts. I'm using the 'custom html' Gutenberg block to insert the javascript. I've cleared the cache on the page but having the same problem.
Any suggestions welcome as I have a few pages I'd like to create popups for.
