Hi! Today I used link triggers for the first time in an email sequence. I set up two link triggers, which when clicked tag my newsletter subscribers as interested in future trainings that I offer. ConvertKit is reporting that 1664 newsletter subscribers clicked on one of these two link triggers. However, Google analytics is reporting that the associated "Thank you" URL was visited 222 times. Given that the link triggers are set up to automatically open the "Thank You" url when clicked on these numbers should be very similar if not identical. Can anyone explain why these numbers are so discrepant? I'm inclined to believe the Google numbers, which if true, suggest that CK is hugely over-reporting clicks for link triggers and is falsely tagging subscribers.
