April showers are upon us here in the northern hemisphere. Daffodils are up and the hyacinths, too.
When I was a kid, getting the family vegetable garden planted became the driving force on the weekends until all the potatoes and peas and beans had been put into fresh tilled earth. Now? Saturday's not much different than other days but there's still a quickening in the air.
