What do you recommend we do to clean up Cold Subscribers? I guess first we try to re-engage them...
If they don't respond to we then unsubscribe them?
Once we or they unsubscribe, can we resubscribe them if they request or do they have to do it themselves?
If we delete them can they resubscribe at a later date?
Do unsubscribed count towards are bill or just confirmed subscribes?
Hi @sales, thanks for reaching out! Yes, you'll want to first attempt to re-engage them instead of simply deleting them from your account. This article here provides step-by-step instructions on how to set up this: https://help.convertkit.com/en/articles/2502492-how-to-prune-cold-subscribers-from-your-list
Here are the basic steps laid out in the article:
Here's the cold sub re-engagement workflow that we've created for you that you can copy into your account. You only need to change the wording to fit your audience/business. See here: https://app.convertkit.com/a/029f2e2a8f
Also, "Unsubscribe" is now available as an action step, allowing you to unsubscribe subscribers directly in your automations. See this article here that explains more about this: https://intercom.help/convertkit/en/articles/2502537-visual-automations-actions
Here are my responses to your questions... :)
If they don't respond to we then unsubscribe them? Yes, or you can delete them if you prefer!
Once we or they unsubscribe, can we resubscribe them if they request or do they have to do it themselves? Yes they can! They will just need to sign up again. If they have an issue with this, reach out to us at email@example.com and we'll be glad to help!
If we delete them can they resubscribe at a later date? Yes!
Do unsubscribed count towards are bill or just confirmed subscribes? Only confirmed subscribers are counted for billing purposes.
I hope this information was helpful and not too overwhelming! Let me know if you have any other questions. Happy New Year! :)
I listened to this video twice and still do not understand what you are getting at. I need precise instructions about what to do to 'hook a person who reads my letter:
Than I need how I follow that up.What kind of words help?
How important is afree offer- at first or later?
I listedned to Angel's webinar on writing and it was a bit more help. What gets me now and before is that there needs to be far more precise directions( SLOWER) before trying to cope with your challenge.
I used a landing page and got just two people then I tried to write letters but I want to sell children's books and that seems to be very difficult.I had no improvement as I don't feel my freebie was good enough (a small video) or my alternative- Are you interested in writing your life story or one for a family member? This booklet may help.
Do you see what I mean? I am still lost and getting nowhere.I must say this is so hard to do.
