Morning or afternoon are usually when I can get into a good groove. I love it when a fresh waive of inspiration hits me in the middle of the day- the harder part is stepping away from my other daily things to take time and use that creativity!
If I can make myself write, first thing in the morning - like 4 or 5am when I get up - it works pretty well. Lately, getting the word processor open is the problem. I even open it before bed and then close it when I get up.
