I switched from 1 and 1 to GoDaddy. The process was simple as I have a technical background. I zipped all my files and databases and reuploaded to new host.

I did it myself but its not really a fair comparison because there was nothing on the old site, therefore i didn’t have anything to lose if I did it wrong. I went from bluehost to siteground and it was fairly painless, I only got on chat with support once

During the last five years, I have switched my web hosting services for multiple times.
Most of the time, the technical support team moved my site from the previous host to its server.
I have also migrated a few sites myself.
