Hello!
One of the possible reasons why the automation is not working is that the subscribers are tagged before you create the automation. The automation will only work for subscribers who get the tag after the automation has been created because visual automation is not retroactive.
I recommend adding an additional temporary tag as an entry point and tagging the subscribers with that temporary tag to add them to the automation. Here is a helpful guide that you can follow: https://help.convertkit.com/en/articles/3746701-how-to-manually-add-subscribers-to-an-automation8
