I am wondering if what I want to do can be done in ConvertKit and if so, how to go about it. Right now I sell digital planners, journals, workbooks, and checklists that help people improve their health. I also want to create a course teaching people how to make them. I would most likely get an entirely different audience for that than the one I have now. I have the health blog but didn't plan to make a website for the course, I thought with ConvertKit I would be able to do this without creating another website and a whole different account. Anyone have any suggestions, feedback, or advice on my idea?

Depends on what you mean by "course."   If it's an email course you'd be delivering through ConvertKit, assuming you could put all the information needed about your course onto a sales page, this will likely be possible soon once the ConvertKit commerce service goes live for everyone and you could sell your course through CK, having folks easily feed into the automated email sequence.

If the course is a video course, I don't think that's in scope for the ConvertKit commerce product (at least at this point), so you'd need to use another provider such as Teachable to host the course content.  Even with the other provider, you could still use your same ConvertKit account, adding folks as subscribers and ensuring that they're tagged or otherwise segmented so you send the right content to the right folks.
