I am writing an incentive email, and the copy makes a reference to a "Minted.com holiday card being the highlight" I just tested the email and it is by default appearing as a hyperlink in the email body text that links to minted.com. How do I turn off the hyperlink? Time-sensitive. Thank you!

Hey @tanner33! Ahh, it sounds like your email provider (e.g. Gmail/Hotmail/etc.) may be automatically hyper-linking that text; we (i.e. ConvertKit) shouldn't be automatically hyper-linking any text on your behalf.

It's difficult to troubleshoot/mitigate issues that take place on the email provider side after the email has already 'left' our hands. There may be alternate methods of adding that text (such as in an HTML block with certain attributes) which could help avoid this, but those methods will likely require testing to ensure they work as expected, and even so, there's no guarantee the behaviour would be consistent across providers. (That said, I’d encourage any other community members that may have tested this to chime in with their findings!)

You mentioned this is time-sensitive, so this may already be too late, but a simpler workaround could simply be to add a space so it's like "Minted. com" instead. I know that's not ideal, but may work in a pinch. You could even highlight the space to decrease its text size so it's less visibly noticeable (the icon with the 2 T's is where you can adjust the size):

I hope that helps somewhat! I'm sorry for the trouble!
