I'm about to launch my newsletter on a brand new email/domain. Do you worry about getting banned with a new email given that the average open rate on newsletter emails typically aren't as high as a personal email?

Hi Megan -- I think sending an email from a domain with low deliverability will be the issue. It will either get blocked by the inbox provider of your subscribers due to the low open which will result in bounced email/subscribers or your sending email address will be flagged due to low open rates or high complained numbers. it will probably be best to reach out to ConvertKit's support team so that their deliverability team can check on your account and sending email address. You can reach them here, Megan: https://convertkit.com/support28
