I'm going to be managing a drip campaign for a client. Should I be using their main business email address or create a separate one with their name specifically for drip campaigns so that I can manage the conversations myself?

That's really a question for you and your client to work out based on who should get replies sent to the address.  That said, the one advantage to using their existing email address is that if recipients have already received mail from that address, replied, have it in their address books, etc. you will likely see better delivery / open results using the existing address.
