I'm new to ConvertKit but have been having problems with deliverability. My paid clients are receiving their emails as we 'trained' them to check their spam so that's sort of ok. Problem is - any new leads that I input directly through input subscriber - they don't seem to often receive the emails. I'm not sure why. I have checked my sequence and can't see anything that would be treated as spam. When i then email these people directly through my gmail account (just to test this situation) - they respond straight away! Any suggestions as to what I can do would be awesome. Thanks

Hey Sue -- Are you sending emails using a free domain like gmail, yahoo, or hotmail? If that would be the case, then it would likely go to spam folders as it uses its reputation to send emails. I highly suggest that you get your own domain to send emails. I also tried reaching out to my subscribers and requested that they allow-list my sending email address so that their inbox provider will not block my email.

Another thing, if you use a free gmail.com6 address to send out sequences or emails from Converkit, this may negatively impact your deliverability.

All marketing emails should be sent from a domain you own, not from a personal account at a provider domain, like @gmail, @aol, @hotmail, @yahoo, etc.
