Is it possible to pull a contact out of an email sequence if a tag is applied to the contact? For example, if a contact opts into signing up, but doesn't purchase, then they get a few emails, then purchase, can I tag the contact with that purchase tag and it pulls them out of the abandoncart email sequence? Or do I have to create an automation, and individual sequence/emails for the abandoncart email sequence to be able to pull the contact out of that sequence if they purchase..

Hey @laura@droptheleash.ca83! What you just described sounds like a great use case for Visual Automation Events. With Events, can set up a Visual Automation such that if the Subscriber(s) in it receive a particular tag at any point, they'll automatically be pulled out of any Sequence they're going through within that Automation, and pulled forward straight to the Tag Event step (and then further steps can occur after that Event).

This article goes over how Events work, with guides and examples: Visual Automations Events213
