What is the proper way to do a mobile popup? I have a modal slide in that is too big on mobile. I would obviously rather use the same popup and have the modal be responsive, but couldn't figure that out. So I set targeting to desktop only, duplicated the popup and am targeting that one to mobile only. However, I still can't figure out how to make it smaller. I am sure I could put in custom CSS but I'm surprised the out of the box forms aren't mobile friendly. (this one is using Rainer)

Where am I?

Hey @Will5! Sorry for the trouble. Our forms are designed to be mobile-friendly, but in some cases there may be styling on the website they're being embedded on that can conflict/interfere with their responsiveness. We have some CSS snippets to help resolve common conflicts in this article4 (e.g. sometimes website styles will override our form text styling and cause it to be too big, which can potentially cause issues on mobile).

But if that doesn't help, please reach out to our team at help@convertkit.com5 (or via the in-app messenger in your account) with a description of this issue (screenshots help if possible), the name of the form (as it is displayed on the forms page6 in your account), and the URL on which it is embedded. One of our Product Specialists will be able to take a look at your account and help troubleshoot further from there ☺️
