What's the best practice for removing a landing page that I won't use again? Archive it and change the URL to redirect to a generic page on my website? Or delete it? If I delete it, what will the user see if they visit the old URL? A 404?

Don't be afraid to delete the landing page. I've done it. Visitors would get a "page not found" message. A redirect would be cool, but you need to weigh if it's worth the time you put into it.
