Who here sells online courses and has found success? I am looking to ask a few questions about how you're collecting and reporting sales/use taxes.

I sell ebooks (hopefully courses in the near future). The sales tax part was one of the biggest nightmeres. I'm in the UK, and we have to charge VAT to every customer in the EU. The EU changed the rules a few years ago that made it even more of a challenge, as we then had to report and pay to each country separetly. The UK Govt created a solution for that where we could pay them for all of it and they would pass it on. But now that the UK is leaving the EU, that no longer applies. So I'm no longer sure how it's going to work from Jan 2021.

In the end, I went with Fastspring as they deal with all of it. They are expensive though.
