Hello Vickie!

There is a possibility that the firstname and lastname is added in the first name field since the code will only fetch values that are inside the firstname field.

It's only as good as what they type in for their name. If you have imported your list from another provider, make sure you don't have any special characters. This may help too: https://help.convertkit.com/en/articles/4169945-troubleshooting-importing-subscribers-post-import115
