Greetings! I am Dr. Will - known as “the Magician” in SaaS (Software as a Service) circles.
I have been in the software business for over 40 years. BS, MS, and PhD all in Computer Science. 16 of those 40 years were spent in the United States Air Force where I worked on many different large scale software systems and taught software engineering at the Air Force Institute of Technology and the Naval Postgraduate School.
After I retired from the Air Force I worked and Texas Instruments, Raytheon, Collective Technologies, Club Corp, and STX Cadware before starting my own software business - Paladin Logic, Limited. As busy as I was, because I love teaching, I continued teaching as an adjunct professor are various schools - Southern Methodist University, Central Michigan University, and the University of Dallas.
Decades of building complex software systems has taught me a lot about managing complexity. I have realized that building knowledge products - like online courses - is a complex project … and that many course creators would benefit from some of the lessons learned in decades of teaching and building complex systems.
Dr Will’s Academy is dedicated to quality. Whether it is quality in development of software systems or online courses, our focus is on completing projects, building quality products and processes, and continually improving in everything we do.
