I am a small business owner since 1984 with over 40+ years in marketing and sales. I collaborate with a lot of designers, writers and had a partner in the sales process consulting. Our team designed a process map workbook titled Systematic Selling.
I bought a company whose owner built a marketing and advertising program based on the intricacies of how to use direct mail and work with the United States Postal Service. Thousands of articles were written over twenty years on how to use the postal system, copywriting, design, call-to-action, content, direct marketing, direct mail, selling and so on.
We did everything from concept to printing and personalize each company brand who purchased a certain number of newsletters for them to mail. It was a quarterly newsletter and we printed over 200,000 newsletters for our customers at our peak.
At present, we are building a direct marketing and sales community, to help and share with anyone who subscribes, articles, content, and our experience.
Our marketing philosophy is simple. "Learn by reading, learn by doing." People in our marketing, advertising, and selling profession learn more by doing. If your goal is to sell more product, get cash for a charity or whatever dealing with a person, keep in mind people are not all the same. Therefore, marketers learn more by doing
