What is the validity period for the CCNA Certificate

The validity of your certificate is three years from the date it was issued. To recertify your certificate, you must fulfill several requirements. You don't have to do anything in order to keep your CCNA certificate current. Cisco is known for its frequent updates to the certification program. If there are any changes made to the CCNA exam, your certificate will still be valid until the expiration date. Cisco certifies you are competent in Cisco technologies by issuing the CCNA certificate. This certification will help you to increase your marketability both within and outside Cisco. A CCNA Routing & Switching certification, for example, will demonstrate your ability to configure, maintain, and manage small-sized Cisco routers or switches. 

What are the CCNA Certification Renewal requirements?

The second option is to obtain CE (Continuing Education credits). Cisco Learning Partners offers continuing educational credits. These credits can be used for Cisco professional-level certifications. You can use any of the five core technology exams. Each of the five CCNP tracks includes a core technology exam: Enterprise, Data Center Security, Security, Service Provider, and Collaboration. To renew your CCNA, you can pass the core exams for Cisco Certified DevNet Pro or Cisco Certified Cyber Ops Pro certifications.
